I purchased this headset after being displeased with several different plug-in headsets. The sound quality is very good, the microphone is close enough for accurate pickup of the voice without a lot of background noise, yet back far enough to not be in the way. I also love the volume control and mute switch on the cord, although I would like if the clip could rotate so I can change the angle of the cords.

I highly recommend this product because not only does it work well, but it sounds great for music too. I have, once or twice, experienced delay between my voice and the person I'm talking to, but I believe that was a skype issue. Great price too...enjoy!

This is required for NYU online classes for Live Classroom (Wimba). Did the test of the software wih Wizard on the Epsilen Website - site that NYU and/or other colleges/universities for online classes. Sound was great! You can hear your own voice. For the testing you hear your voice in playback. Will be using it for the class. Let's see what happens for the next Live Classroom - synchronous online class session for NYU Translation for International Organizations class. This headset also works for listening to music. Maybe it might work for MSN Windows Live Messenger too.
