Wireless mouseMar 21, 2010 I ordered this mouse to replace one that quit working. It is working great and doing what I need it to do. It shipped within a couple days.
WONDERFULMar 21, 2010 I was very pleased with my order. Shipping was fast and the quality of my item was just as nice as advertised. I will be buying again..BEING AN ARMY FAMILY WE ONLY WANT THE BEST AND THIS PAST OUR TEST..
Oh if you can't find the turn off button like me.. DUHHH I finally read the directions to find out to save on the battery pull the thingy that plugs into your USB port and it snaps on the bottom of the mouse and turns it off while protecting the things on the side of your laptop..
Dies after a few monthsMar 21, 2010 The connectivity never was very good, and then after a few months, it just died. Much better luck with a Logitech mouse which has lasted a few years.
Microsoft wireless mouse -- not good at allMar 17, 2010 I bought this mouse to replace a wireless Logitech mouse which I broke. I've had the Microsoft mouse for about 3 weeks and just bought another Logitech to replace it. In fairness to Microsoft, I'm using this on a laptop running Linux, not Windows.
I plugged it in, Linux picked it up and all seemed fine. But the range is VERY poor, it frequently loses connectivity (even at a short distance from the receiver) and I needed to reset it on a regular basis. Frequently the cursor will track the mouse but the buttons don't respond. Frequently the motion sensor seems confused by my desktop (which is faux wood) and cursor tracking is a random event.
Overall, I've found this mouse to be worth disposing of -- not much more. My experience with Logitech has been much better.
Good Inexpensive MouseMar 15, 2010 This mouse is practical for most laptops. The mouse is responsive and feels good in the hand. Its only shortcomings are the large size of the receiver and its rather short range. Beyond about five feet the button clicks become intermittent. This mouse is a great value and if used in the normal way most people should like this mouse.
