5Great product, exactly as describedMar 02, 2010
this is a well-made cable that does exactly what is is supposed to. It is not a very heavy cable so be sure to limit its use to indoors only.

4Connect your XBOX to a router cheaplyFeb 22, 2010
Needed 50 ft. cable to connect my xbox to the home office router. Signal is fine, connectivity and playibility good as well. Relatively inexpensive way to connect to xbox live at long distance in the house. Good price as well.

5Much better than wireless--much cheaper than stores--buy 2!Feb 17, 2010
I bought this top quality 50-ft. LAN (a.k.a. Ethernet) cable for $7 + $5 in 2007. Now in 2010 it is $5 + $5 so I am getting 2 more and there are other good ones listed but I KNOW this one works and it is WHITE and my walls are not black duh. Reasons to buy 2 at a time:

1. Cheap. These are $30 or so in stores IF you can find them.
2. Someday you'll want to upgrade your old desktop and keep your old one connected.
3. Someday you'll have a laptop with a built in wireless--but--there will be one place where you usually use it and LAN is better than wireless and never conks out.
4. Someday your traditional phone company will rip you off--and--you probably want to keep your old phone number--so--you may want to switch to cable-based phone + internet (even if you have satellite TV)--but--this must be placed near an existing phone jack--so--you'll need another LAN cable.
5. My cheap wireless router has several LAN outlets and probably yours does too.
6. Someday a friend or relative will need a LAN cable so why not have a spare.

5Great Product, even BETTER PriceFeb 08, 2010
Just as good as any overpriced cable, IMO. I'm using it to stream video from my computer to my TV, and from the internet to my DVR. No blips, no problems at all. Signal strength is just what I'd expect.

Paying more is just dumb.

There was a problem when I ordered, that the cables never got shipped. When I contacted the seller, and they'd realized the error, they overnighted the product to me that same day. So I can't really fault them, as they did everything in their power to correct the problem.

5great cordDec 10, 2009
i saved alot of money by buying this cord online. I needed a less expensive option than a wireless adapter for my xbox 360, which was about $100, so I bought this cord for about $12 including shipping. The router is in another room, so I just run it over the doorway to my room. It was a great solution for my need.
